I am often amazed at how alike we all are.  The fine details are different, but at the core we are refreshingly similar.  The love, hope, pain, laughter, and sadness.  Some days we are at our best and other days we hope no one is looking.  Weddings, birth, and babies remind us to pause and record these life changing events.   Yet it is in the day to day where I find the most beauty and the most wonderful pictures.  You probably will not look perfect in your picture, your house might not be immaculate, everyone may not be looking at the camera and that is okay.  In fact it is even better because it is real.  It is in the in-between moments where the beauty comes out.  A frustrated look, a tired shut of the eyes, a leap of joy, a runny nose, a light touch on the head.  Your life and family is a work of art and I want to help you capture that and be able to enjoy it every day.  Sometimes we move so fast that we forget to pay attention to the details.  The way your partner glances your way.  How your dog licks your face.  The anticipation of a new family member.  The way your child plays with your fingers.  This is what you want to remember.  A  photograph holds our memories.  I feel very honored whenever a person invites me to capture their imperfect, may be a bit messy, but all the same beautiful life.

I am very conscious of what products I choose in my personal and professional life.  I want them to be beautiful, high quality, and have a low impact on the environment.  From my business cards to the artwork we create together I use recycled or sustainable material, and use local small businesses when possible.
